The Oakleigh Apartments complex at 11580 Perkins Road, between Bluebonnet Boulevard and Siegen Lane, has been sold for $22.85 million.
The deal was brokered by Boyce Rigby at Stream Realty Partners, who says the new owners decline comment on the purchase. Rigby also declined to identify the buyers.
According to sales documents, the complex was sold by Oakleigh Apartments LLC, represented by manager Patrick J. Coffey, whose mailing address is in Mobile, Alabama. The buyer is a limited liability company registered as MA Oakleigh at Baton Rouge, whose authorized signatory on the sales documents is K. Conley Chi.
Chi is managing principal at Los Angeles-based Mount Auburn Capital Group, according to the multifamily investment and management company’s website. However, the sales documents alone provide no confirmation that Mount Auburn is involved in the purchase, and attempts to reach the company and Chi for comment were unsuccessful as of this afternoon’s deadline.
Mount Auburn owns and manages 14 communities with almost 5,000 units across six states, including Tuscany Villas at 10732 South Mall Drive, according to the company’s website.
