Baton Rouge-based creative agency ThreeSixtyEight is one of the best places to work in America, according to Inc. magazine.
Some 2,500 companies applied to be named one of Inc.‘s best workplaces, but only about 380 made the final list. Inc. surveyed more than 350,000 employees to better understand how they felt about their company.
ThreeSixtyEight, headed by Kenny Nguyen, was the only Louisiana company to make the final list.
“You can have all the work perks you want, but your culture doesn’t mean anything until it costs you money,” Nguyen says in Inc. “This year, we’ve turned down an opportunity for a high seven-figure account that would change the finances of the agency but knew that it wouldn’t be the best cultural fit.”
The company also sent its entire team to a conference in Nashville, Tennessee, about “liminal space,” as the company is going through a strategic inflection point.
Located in Downtown East, the creative agency has raked in numerous awards in recent years. Last year, CEO Kenny Nguyen was named Business Report’s Young Businessperson of the Year. Nguyen and COO and co-founder Gus Murillo were also named to Forbes 30 Under 30 list last year.
