Thirteen Baton Rouge companies are included in Inc. magazine’s annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest growing companies in the nation.
Management consulting firm Emergent Method is the region’s highest-ranked company, checking in at No. 686 following a 635% growth in revenue over the past three years. The company was No. 1,292 in last year’s rankings. Business Report named Emergent Method as the 2017 Company of the Year.
Other Baton Rouge-based companies among the 5000 fastest-growing companies: Triumph Construction (1046), Vinformatix (1126), Facilities Maintenance Management (1888), Anytime Flooring (2583), BBQ Guy’s Manufacturing (2671), Quality Engineering & Surveying (2869), General Informatics (3787), MESH (3863), Window World of Baton Rouge (4266), MasteryPrep (4408), ShoppersChoice.com doing business as BBQGuys (4747), and Red Six Media (4993).

Thirty-seven Louisiana-based companies made this year’s list. Leading the statewide pack is Metairie-based Flexicrew Technical Services, ranked No. 287. The human resources company has seen 1,541% growth in the past three years and reported $2.7 million in revenue last year.
The magazine annually ranks companies according to revenue growth over an annual and three-year period. Freestar, a tech company that helps publishers maximize advertising revenue, tops this year’s list with 2018 revenues of $37 million and a three-year growth rate of 36,680%. See the full list.
