Eying the Tiger: The University of Texas Longhorns have taken in an interest in LSU baseball head coach Paul Mainieri. The Shreveport Times reports that the university has reached out to Mainieri about its vacant head coaching job. Texas is searching for a replacement for Augie Garrido, who stepped down in May. Closing: Rue Cou Cou, a small art gallery in Circa 1857 on Government Street, announced today that it is going out of business. “Rue Cou Cou framing and gallery is closing,” the owner wrote in an email to customers and friends. “Our last day will be Thursday, June 30. Thank you all, we had a great run.” The owner was not at the store today and could not be reached for comment. The shop was popular in Mid City and participated in art and cultural events in that area.
A new feature: Microsoft Outlook now includes a feature that allows users to schedule a meeting, with coworkers or others, at their local Starbucks and to send Starbucks gift cards from their Outlook inbox. PCWorld reports that both of the Seattle-based companies launched the add-in Wednesday. Users must install the Outlook add-in and connect to a Starbucks account. After that, a sidebar feature in Outlook makes it easy to add a gift card to future emails. The free add-in is only available for Outlook 2013 and 2016 on Windows and Outlook Online on the web. Microsoft says it is working to bring it the add-in support to Outlook for Mac and Outlook Mobile in the future. Exchange customers can follow specific steps to get the add-in. Read the full story.
