Visiting key primary state: Former Gov. Buddy Roemer, who is considering a run for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, starts a two-day trip in New Hampshire today. Roemer will meet this afternoon with Ovide Lamontagne, an attorney who has a reputation in New Hampshire as being a GOP kingmaker; he’ll also meet with a New Hampshire family. On Wednesday, Roemer will give interviews to local media and shake hands with voters. The former governor is set to go to Iowa Monday for a Memorial Day town hall meeting.
Hello, Snooki: Paparazzi photographers caught on film an impromptu meeting some members of the LSU men’s basketball team had with the women of Jersey Shore. The Tigers are on an exhibition tour of Italy, and Jersey Shore is shooting its upcoming season in Florence. Garrett Green, Eddie Ludwig, Matt Derenbecker, Justin Hamilton and Andrew Del Piero were walking through the streets of Florence when they ran into a photographer, who told them the women cast members of the hit reality show were eating in a nearby café.
