No big changes: Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge had first quarter revenues of $35 million, little change from the $34.8 million the gambling boat brought in a year before. But parent company Penn National Gaming says revenues at its 19 casinos and racetracks were down slightly overall in the quarter, from $613.5 million in 2008 to $612.2 million this year.

Vanishing unemployment: The online magazine Slate has an interactive map on how the economic crisis has hit various parts of the United States. The map shows job losses on the county level, beginning in early 2007. The map also shows how Louisiana is outperforming the national economy. Click here to see the map.
