Not worrying about money: Louisiana ranks fifth lowest in terms of people looking online for financial help, reports the Wall Street Journal. DestroyDebt, a Web site that provides financial information, says the number of Louisiana visitors is nearly 40% below the state average. Only New Mexico, Mississippi, Wyoming and North Dakota had lower rates. Nevada had the highest visitation rate to DestroyDebt.

The recession is hurting everyone: Rising costs are biting into Girl Scout Cookie portions, reports the Dallas Morning News. Fewer cookies were packaged into Thin Mints, Do-si-dos and Tagalongs boxes this year, and the Lemon Chalet Crčme cookies shrank to make up for the rising cost of ingredients. Officials say the change only amounted to a “couple cookies” per box. According to the Girl Scouts, the price of flour rose by more than 30% and cocoa was up by at least 20%.
