Huckabee, who currently hosts a show on Fox News, will be signing copies of his new book, A Simple Government, at 3:30 p.m. today at Lifeway Christian Stores. This is part of a swing through Louisiana; he was signing books in Shreveport Sunday.
Grand opening: The ExxonMobil YMCA will hold a grand opening ceremony at 11 a.m. today. The 12,000-square-foot fitness center is located in the Howell Place development in north Baton Rouge. The Y will feature a heated outdoor pool and a fitness center, along with a gymnasium that is part of a cooperative agreement with BREC.
