To the highest bidder: The former offices of G&E Engineering, a full-service environmental and civil engineering consulting firm, are set to be auctioned off at noon on March 11. According to a news release, Elliot Paul & Co. has been appointed to sell, to the highest bidder, the Class A office building at 4875 Sherwood Forest Blvd. The office is 12,500 square feet. An adjacent building of 8,200 square feet, located at 4917 Sherwood Forest Blvd., also is set for a confirmation auction. The auction is taking place on site. The news release says the buildings have parking in the front and back, private office space, conference areas, flexible joint working space and a combined 20,000 square feet of move-in ready office space.

Moving along: The city-parish will host two land-use planning workshops on March 1-2 for the TramLinkBR streetcar project, according to a news release from Mayor Kip Holden’s office. The meetings are open for anyone interested in hearing about or providing input on the streetcar project, which will connect LSU and downtown with a streetcar that runs along Nicholson Drive. “To plan growth and development responsibly, it’s important to plan for the potential impacts a project like the streetcar will have,” Holden says in a statement, “and we believe it will be very positive for the areas around the route.” The first discussion will be March 1 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the McKinley Alumni Center, 1520 Thomas H. Delpit Drive. The second meeting will be March 2 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Louisiana Art and Science Museum, 100 S. River Road.

Settlement reached: Redhawk Holdings, a limited liability company located in Youngsville, Louisiana, announced today it has reached a settlement agreement with former CEO and board chairman Howard J.
