All fired up: Firehouse Subs will open its first Gonzales restaurant at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Franchisees of the Gonzales restaurant, located at 2706 S. Cabela’s Parkway, Suite 130, are Adam Ratliff, David Ratliff and Gregg Simon. Hours of operation will be 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The Jacksonville, Florida-based sub chain has amassed more than 900 locations across 43 states and Puerto Rico since being founded in 1994, and the company announced its move into Canada last week.

New in town: National plumbing services chain Rooter-Man has entered the Baton Rouge market. The company announced the move today, saying Baton Rouge will be home to one of eight new franchisee locations that recently opened nationwide. The local franchisee is Drain Cleaning and Plumbing Specialists, according to the Rooter-Man website. There are more than 450 Rooter-Man franchisees across North America, offering a complete range of plumbing services and 24/7 emergency service.

Now open: Donald Scully Jr. has launched a new financial services firm in Baton Rouge. Louisiana Wealth Advisors is located at 8560 Jefferson Highway, Suite B, in the Country Club Business Park office complex. Scully, who serves as CEO of the firm, has more than two decades of experience assisting individuals and small business owners with investment and financial strategies. Prior to launching the new firm, he most recently served as general manager for MassMutual Louisiana.
