The new website features an interactive map that pinpoints stores selling Manda products, a page dedicated to jambalaya tips and tricks, products and testimonials. A link also allows customers to send in their recipes, which may be featured on the site and company’s Facebook page. Hatchit, a Baton Rouge-based web and branding company, designed the site.
New initiative: The Baton Rouge Area Chamber today announced a new initiative aimed at providing professional development and training to student interns in the Capital Region. The InternBR program is a competitive eight-week program that will take place in June and July. BRAC President and CEO Adam Knapp says the program’s goal is to not only complement an intern’s on-the-job training but to connect him or her with everything Baton Rouge has to offer. The objective is to keep the city on an intern’s radar as a place to live and work post-graduation. Participants in the program must have a summer internship in the Baton Rouge area and permission from a direct supervisor to attend lunch and learn sessions each Friday of June and July.
