Good communication: The American Advertising Federation–Baton Rouge club was recognized at the 2012 AAF national convention in Austin, Texas, last week. The club placed first in its division for its communications and membership programs, and third in public relations and government relations programs. In addition to the overall club achievements, two AAF-BR member companies earned national ADDY Awards. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana won a Silver ADDY, and TILT won a Silver ADDY. The awards honor excellence in advertising and promote the highest creative standards in the industry. The competition begins at the local level and moves on to one of 14 regional competitions before proceeding to the national finals.
More than a facelift: The Tiger Athletic Foundation launched its revamped website lsutaf.org on Monday. “We are excited about our new site and hope that you find it easy to navigate and operate,” says the foundation. Improving the site’s Member Center was one goal of the foundation in re-creating its online presence.
