Set to interview Wednesday: Myrtle Dorsey, chancellor of Baton Rouge Community College, is in the running to assume leadership of St. Louis Community College. Dorsey is one of three finalists for the job, and she’s set to meet with the staff and community Wednesday, according to The St. Louis Business Journal. The community college, which has an enrollment of more than 29,0000 students, has four campuses and three education centers across metro St. Louis. Dorsey has been chancellor of BRCC since 2002.
New boss: TSRC Corporation of Taiwan has completed its acquisition of Dexco Polymers in Plaquemine. Dexco had been a joint venture between ExxonMobil Chemical Company and Dow. Officials with TSRC say the acquisition will allow them to expand more aggressively globally.
