The four other finalists are Atlas Therapeutics of New Orleans; BioAesthetics of New Orleans; Gator and Crane Inc. of Mandeville; and Undercover Coatings LLC of Meraux. Rolling it out: LSU Parking & Transportation Services is partnering with car sharing network Zipcar to place five vehicles on campus for students, faculty and staff ages 18 and older, as well as members of the public ages 21 and over. Zipcar and LSU representatives will be on campus Tuesday to showcase the new service and register new members. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the LSU Union Plaza. LSU says in a news release that the cars will be available at “an affordable rate” 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but no specifics on pricing were given. The Zipcars will have designated parking spots located in a campus lot near the Edward Gay Apartments and West Laville Hall for convenient pick-up and return.
