Late-night hype: The Around Town TV Show, produced in Baton Rouge by 1stCo Productions, was highlighted on Thursday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! show. One segment of the show focused on unusual daily celebrations and played several clips of Around Town hosts Kim Rogers and Chef Celeste recounting celebrations from this week, including UnFriend Day and Bread Pudding Day. The clips aired originally on WAFB last weekend during the Around Town TV Show, hosted by Scott Rogers and Kellee Hennessy.

The saga ends: Wardrobe malfunction. Nipplegate. The Janet Jackson case. Whatever you want to call Jackson’s infamous 2004 Super Bowl halftime show slipup, FindLaw reports the event is poised to fade from the nation’s consciousness—finally, after seven years. The Federal Communications Commission had fined CBS $550,000 for the midday peep show. But last week, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit threw it out. For the second time. Despite the outcome of the Janet Jackson case, broadcasters will continue to employ the seven-second delay between filming and airing to prevent profanity, bloopers, violence or other undesirable material from getting on air.
