What is…: Being on Jeopardy! is much more than just standing at a podium and answering questions. As LSU senior environmental engineering major Kevin Brown learned, there is much more involved, the university says in a news release. “Over the course of two days, I got a behind-the-scenes look at a nationally beloved TV show, met 14 amazing students from around the country and, most importantly, had the opportunity to represent LSU on the national stage,” Brown says in a statement. Brown is the first LSU student to appear on the Jeopardy! College Scholarship Tournament, which begins airing this afternoon and goes until Feb. 12 and features students from 15 colleges and universities. Brown is scheduled to appear Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. on WBRZ-TV.
