Project will add 100 jobs: Aeroframe, a maintenance, repair and overhaul company for firms such as FedEx and US Airways, announced another expansion of its facility at Chennault International Airport in Lake Charles. The new project will add 100 direct jobs, with an average salary of $55,000 and benefits. This means in two years, Aeroframe will have 650 workers in Lake Charles and a payroll of more than $35.7 million.
Company still has LSU Union location: Salsarita’s has closed its restaurant near the corner of Perkins Road and Bluebonnet Boulevard. A spokeswoman for the Charlotte, N.C.-based chain says the local franchisee decided to shut down the restaurant. Salsarita’s recently opened a location inside the LSU Union.
