Talking green spaces: BREC will hold an open house meeting on Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Kress Gallery, 447 Third St., to get public feedback on plans for a new downtown park that will connect the future Downtown Greenway. The park is planned to replace an empty lot at Seventh and Convention streets. It will provide additional green space while linking two historic downtown neighborhoods, Spanish Town and Beauregard Town, with each other and downtown.
