The MPAC: Music, People, Art and Community event will return to downtown Baton Rouge next summer, but the third annual event will be produced by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, officials announced this morning.

The all-white attire event was created by 225, and the magazine produced the first two annual events along with inRegister. Both magazines are sister publications to Business Report. While the Arts Council will produce next year’s event—which will return to the Shaw Center for the Arts on June 2, 2016—225 and inRegister will remain partners.

“We’re glad to be working together again and providing this creative event for our community to enjoy,” says 225 Publisher Julio Melara in a prepared statement. “We couldn’t have a better partner.”

Last year, more than 1,500 people attended MPAC, which featured a variety of artistic mediums, local cuisine, signature cocktails and entertainment across six floors of the Shaw Center. As a non-profit organization, the Arts Council will produce the popular and successful event as an annual fundraiser and says it looks forward to building upon the success of the first two MPAC events.
