LSU coach Les Miles will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. today to discuss the future of two football players—junior cornerback Morris Claiborne and sophomore defensive tackle Michael Brockers. No additional information was made available by LSU on what the announcement may be. For what it’s worth, Mike the Tiger says in a tweet this morning, “I know this week has been hard for everyone (big loss, no LSU beer), but Tigers are strong and proud. Today is going to be great!” Meanwhile, junior wide receiver Russell Shepard indicated he may be leaving LSU; Tweeting on Wednesday: “Thanks for your support Tiger Nation…but I have to do what’s best for my family and myself…Geaux Tigers.” Shephard has not commented further on his plans for the coming year.
