Simple Joe Café and Confectionary, the first sit-down breakfast restaurant in the burgeoning Mid City area, plans a grand opening Sunday. The restaurant began serving customers with a soft opening last week. Owner and chef Sean Braswell says the restaurant fills a need in the area since the only other breakfast options are fast-food joints.
