The number of travelers who passed through Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport increased by 10% in 2010. Airport officials say they hosted 778,587 passengers last year. The increase in passenger traffic is credited to US Airways’ adding flights from Baton Rouge to Charlotte, N.C., in June. But all commercial airlines that serve the airport saw passenger numbers increase last year, airport officials say.
