DJM Realty, a New York-based firm that specializes in helping financially troubled companies get rid of properties, is selling the leases for 10 Louisiana Circuit City stores, including the location at the Mall of Louisiana. DJM says the Mall of Louisiana Circuit City, which closed when the entire company liquidated, is more than 30,000 square feet. Circuit City had an annual lease of $570,038 on the store, which opened in the summer. The lease doesn’t expire until Jan. 31, 2019. While offers on most of the 578 Circuit City stores are due by March 12, DJM has set a Feb. 18 deadline for the Mall of Louisiana location and an Alexandria store. The Circuit City on Airline Highway, which closed several months before the electronics chain went out of business, is not listed by DJM.
