State Sen. Rob Marionneaux is dithering about running against Gov. Bobby Jindal this fall. But John Maginnis says the best move may be for Marionneaux to save his money and spend time with his family, instead of mounting a challenge against the well-financed Jindal. “Rob Marionneaux is known as a fighter, but also one who knows how to pick his fights, and this one would not end well for him. About his only reason to qualify to run is perchance for lightning to strike. Jindal, that is,” Maginnis says.
