A new business radio show hosted by Business Report Editor Stephanie Riegel is hitting the airwaves next month on National Public Radio affiliate 89.3 FM WRKF.
Called Out to Lunch Baton Rouge, the show is modeled after the Out to Lunch show that airs on New Orleans NPR member station 89.9 FM WWNO. The local show will feature Riegel interviewing local business executives and entrepreneurs as they share lunch at Mansurs on the Boulevard.
The show is one of two new programs that will begin airing on WRKF beginning Friday, Aug. 7. Also new to the programming lineup is Roux Radio, a half-hour show hosted by WRKF reporters Sue Lincoln and Ann Marie Awad that will feature interviews and conversation on a wide range of topics, including politics, culture, arts, food, health and science news that affects listeners.
Roux Radio will air each Friday at noon, and will be followed by Out to Lunch Baton Rouge, which will also be a half-hour show. The shows will be rebroadcast each Sunday at 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
