LSU President William Tate warns that changes to the National Institutes of Health funding policies could have dire consequences for LSU and research institutions across the nation. In a statement issued Tuesday afternoon, Tate notes that LSU holds approximately $192 million in NIH funding, which in turn, he says, generates $550 million in economic impact
