Under a new partnership between the Louisiana Business & Technology Center at LSU and the World Trade Center of New Orleans, the faculty and staff of each will work together on international business development projects, provide related consulting services to businesses and have a freer exchange of expertise. LBTC Executive Director Charles D’Agostino and WTCNO CEO Dominik Knoll recently inked a memorandum of understanding outlining the partnership. Both say the MOU will further strengthen ties between the organizations, which in turn will help businesses throughout the state optimize their potential, promote international business development and international trade. “We currently are actively working on export programs with Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Mexico and China, and having a partnership with the WTCNO greatly enhances our programs by tapping the experience and knowledge of their staff, clients, consultants and counterparts worldwide,” D’Agostino says in a release.
