LSU has decided to put a one-year freeze on tradition fund increases that were set to be levied on men’s basketball season tickets. LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva announced the freeze in a letter sent this week, saying the move was done “in appreciation for the loyalty and dedication of our season ticket holders who have continued to purchase tickets as we build the program to a championship level.” The move comes after the Tigers had consecutive 11-20 seasons. The tradition fund increases started in the 2010-11 season. Alleva says the freeze will push back scheduled increases for one year.
