LSU has canceled its regularly scheduled fall break to compensate in part for the three days of classes students missed last week due to Hurricane Isaac. The two-day break was scheduled for Oct. 18 and 19. LSU also will have classes meet on a Saturday to make up for the third day that was missed; which Saturday has not yet been determined, but school officials say the date will be announced in the near future. LSU closed Aug. 28-30 for Isaac and resumed classes on Aug. 31. The remainder of the academic calendar is unchanged.
