CBS has selected LSU’s Oct. 22 home game against Auburn for national television, meaning yet another 2:30 p.m. kickoff, the SEC announced today. Also today, the SEC named LSU guard Will Blackwell its Offensive Lineman of the Week, after the Tigers’ 41-11 victory over No. 17 Florida in Tiger Stadium on Saturday. Blackwell played on every snap and recorded a team-high count of 10 knockdowns. He did not allow a sack as the Tigers rolled up 453 total yards against a Florida team that had been allowing an average of just 258 total yards going into the game. Blackwell also helped clear the way for LSU’s running backs, as the Tigers ran for 238 yards against a Gator defense that had been holding opponents to an average of 90 yards on the ground per game.
