LSU and Centenary College are set to sign an agreement this morning that gives students at the Shreveport private college a pathway to graduate programs at LSU. According to The Shreveport Times, by fall 2012 Centenary will start offering graduate certificates in sustainable energy development and in wetlands and coastal ecology. Those certificates will make it possible for Centenary students to enter LSU graduate programs. Which LSU programs they will be able to enter is something that still has to be determined by a panel featuring representatives from both schools. Plans are to offer the certificates through online courses.
