The Louisiana Department of Revenue is improving its efforts to collect unpaid business taxes, the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s office reports. LDR has implemented auditors’ recommendations to prioritize the cases it pursues according to how likely it is to collect based on the age of the debt, the amount and the taxpayer’s assets, among other factors.
