Louisiana Chemical Pipe, Valve & Fitting has been acquired by Ferguson Enterprises, a company based in Newport News, Va. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Louisiana Chemical will operate as part of Ferguson’s industrial division, Wolseley Industrial Group. Bobby DeAngelo, who founded Louisiana Chemical in 1998, will remain as general manager. Louisiana Chemical distributes pipe, valves and fittings and has offices in Baton Rouge and Sulphur. Rob Braig, vice president for Wolseley, says the deal will enhance the company’s presence on the Gulf Coast, which is a strong market for pipes, valves and fittings.
