Vespa of Baton Rouge has moved into an old Starbucks Coffee location on Corporate Boulevard. Brandon LaCaze, who works at the scooter dealership, says the business was looking for more room. Vespa, which opened in November 2006, had been sharing space with a car wash on Jefferson Highway. “The main idea was also to get into a little higher-end area,” LaCaze says, noting the dealership is close to Towne Center. Along with selling Vespas, the dealership also sells Piaggio, Moto Guzzi and Aprilia motorcycles and scooters.—Timothy Boone
