A long-awaited roadway project aimed at easing congestion in one of Livingston Parish’s fastest-growing areas is now open. Parish officials and project partners held a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this week to mark the opening of the new four-lane, $17 million Cook Road Extension, which connects La. 16 to Juban Road near the Juban Crossing development.
