Beginning Tuesday, Business Report‘s BizTech Expo will open for 100 hours as a virtual marketplace for attendees and exhibitors alike. Except for two special live events, the entire expo is being held online this year. The BizTech Expo portal is designed to give visitors direct access to a select group of south Louisiana’s top business and technology companies. Exhibitors will be able to provide information, photos and videos of their products and services in their virtual “booths.” Attendees can also chat live with exhibitors, via text or video, in the BizTech Expo Hall area. Two live events on Wednesday will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The day will kick off at 7:30 a.m. with the Louisiana Technology and Innovation Breakfast, featuring an address by Josh Linkner, the New York Times best-selling author of Discliplined Dreaming: A Proven System to Drive Breakthrough Creativity. The breakfast will be followed by a series of seminars, concluding with the Top 100 Private Companies Luncheon at 11:45 a.m., featuring LSU economist Loren Scott.
