The Louisiana Hospital Association has launched a Web site designed to help hospitals use the latest in recruitment and marketing technology to attract doctors and other healthcare workers. LAHospitalCareers.com allows hospitals to promote themselves and list current job openings. KarenSue Zoeller, LHA’s vice president of workforce development, says staffing shortages plague hospitals everywhere around the country and “lead to problems with access to services and quality of care.” Dozens of hospitals and hospital systems in Baton Rouge and around the state are already using the site, with more to be added through the year.—Steve Clark
