Level Construction has purchased 18 lots in Central’s upscale Twin Lakes Estates subdivision for slightly more than $1 million.
Todd Waguespack, managing partner of Level, says the firm bought the remaining lots in the subdivision and plans to build country French-style homes that will range in price from $260,000 to $369,000.
Though an estimated 25,000 of Central’s approximately 27,000 were affected by flooding in August, Waguespack says the lots his firm purchased were not impacted.
“It didn’t have any water on it,” Waguespack says, adding that the houses should be ready in about 100 days.
The seller was Jim E. Clark Limited Liability Partnership Number One. Ben Statler of Maestri Murrell Real Estate represented both the buyer and seller. Waguespack calls the deal a great opportunity for the buyer and the seller. Central is a core market with great schools, he says.
“We think Central is a great market and we wanted to be there,” Waguespack says.
