Les Miles has put his mansion on the market.
The former LSU football coach, relieved of his duties in September, is selling his upscale home in the gated Bocage Lake subdivision for nearly $1.8 million, according to an ad on Realtor.com.
The website was the first to report the news of Miles’ sale. Information from the East Baton Rouge Parish Assessor’s Office confirms the house belongs to Miles.
Whoever buys the house will have just about every luxury imaginable.
The ad says the house covers a whopping 5,535 square feet, with six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. It features an expansive living room and gourmet kitchen, a backyard pool, a screened back porch with a built-in brick grill, a spacious master suite and “a sports court for additional activities” outside.
Miles was fired by LSU on Sept. 25, a day after an 18-13 loss to Auburn dropped his squad to a disappointing 2-2 record in a season loaded with high expectations.
The Realtor.com ad comes as speculation increases that Miles is mulling a return to coaching in 2017. His name has been floated around for other college football openings, and ESPN has reported that Miles is working toward putting a possible staff together should an opportunity arise.
