Sports Illustrated has a profile of LSU quarterback Jarrett Lee, who is again getting the chance to lead the Tigers. It would have been no surprise had Lee left LSU in 2009, a year after throwing seven interceptions that were returned for touchdowns and losing his job to Jordan Jefferson. Lee told the magazine he briefly considered leaving, then changed his mind. “I didn’t come here to LSU to transfer,” he says. Now Lee is ready to lead LSU again, after he held off highly touted transfer Zach Mettenberger and Jefferson was suspended for his role in a fight at a Tigerland bar. “I stuck it out here,” Lee says. “And I’m glad I did.” Read the full story here.
