LED gets $13.2 million for small businesses

Louisiana Economic Development has received $13.2 million that will go to help private lenders extend more credit to small businesses. The money, appropriated from the U.S. Treasury, is part of the State Small Business Credit Initiative. “With these funds, Louisiana Economic Development will continue to support the Louisiana Small Business Loan Guarantee Program and the Louisiana Seed Capital Programs,” says U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu.
