The LSU women’s basketball team has released its 2011-12 schedule. The Lady Tigers will face a challenging season under first-year coach Nikki Caldwell, with games against six teams that were ranked in the final 2011 USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll. Georgetown and UCLA, the team that Caldwell coached last season, are both set to come to Baton Rouge. The Lady Tigers will play their first game on the road, Nov. 13, at Central Michigan. Non-conference road trips to Tulane, Ohio State, McNeese State and Louisiana Tech are also scheduled. See the full schedule here.
