U.S. District Judge Ralph Tyson died early today at the age of 63. Tyson had served as chief judge of the Middle District of Louisiana since 2005. Tyson, who earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from LSU, was appointed to the federal bench by President Bill Clinton in 1998.
