John Engquist acquires land for final Materra phase 

Developer John Engquist has acquired the last portion of land for the final phase of Materra, the 100-acre traditional neighborhood development next to Woman’s Hospital, according to public records.  He acquired the 6 acres from Woman’s Hospital through Materra Development LLC today for nearly $430,000, according to the deal filed with the East Baton Rouge
