BATON ROUGE (AP) — Gov. Bobby Jindal’s top lawyer is considering a run for the Louisiana Supreme Court. Jimmy Faircloth, Jindal’s general counsel, said he needs to talk with friends and family before he’ll decide whether to run.

The court has an open seat after this week’s retirement of Chet Traylor, who represented the 4th District in northeast and north-central Louisiana.
