A special private screening of the documentary Waiting for “Superman”, which focuses on efforts to reform public education, will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the Louisiana State Museum. The screening for legislators is hosted by Gov. Bobby Jindal, House Speaker Jim Tucker and Senate President Joel Chaisson. Participant Media, one of the production companies involved in making the acclaimed documentary, is bringing the screening to town. The company was also involved in arranging a private screening of Waiting for “Superman” for President Barack Obama in the White House. To view the trailer, click here.
