Isle of Capri Casinos says it has entered into an option agreement to sell one of its Lake Charles riverboats to Paradise Casino. Financial terms of the deal, including the sale price, were not disclosed. Under the deal, Paradise would buy the Crown riverboat and move it to Bossier City. If the deal goes through, the Isle would consolidate its Lake Charles operations on the larger Grand Palais gaming boat. The option must by exercised by Nov. 30. The agreement calls for Paradise to immediately begin the process of getting regulatory approvals, including passing a local referendum to move the boat to Bossier City. According to The Shrevport Times, Paradise wants to put the riverboat on a 10-acre tract next to the Louisiana Boardwalk shopping center, by Bass Pro Shops.
