E Eric Guirard, who penned the “Tigers to The Top” song for the 1981 LSU men’s basketball Final Four team, has released an album of politically conservative rap songs called Tea Party Anthem. “My purpose in creating the CD was to spread my conservative political philosophy—and that of tens of millions of fellow Americans—in a hip, memorable and inspirational format,” says the 53-year-old who has dubbed himself “America’s Conservative Rapper.” You can listen to an interview with Guirard on this morning’s The Jim Engster Show here, and read an April Business Report story about Guirard by Penny Font here.
