At 7:30 p.m. tonight, enter the doors of the City Club downtown for #socialRevolution, an evening of film, food and intellectually stimulating discussion about the emerging democratic movements in the Middle East and North Africa. New arts-culture-theater series 300seats will screen an Oscar-winning short film about the Arab-Israeli conflict, and then invite a local Palestinian student to share her story on modernity and personal freedom. An open discussion will follow the screening and lecture, along with a spread of regional cuisine such as taboule and moujadra.
