Golleher joins oil and gas organization in government relations

Brent Golleher has joined Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association as its new manager of government relations. Golleher was hired by the association in late February, having previously worked as manager of government relations and political affairs for the Independent Petroleum Association of America in Washington, D.C. “Brent brings with him a wealth of government relations and industry experience to the position, including work with member associations, that will further strengthen our ability to meet the diverse needs of our members both in Louisiana and at the federal level,” says LMOGA President Chris John. “Our industry is at a critical juncture so we are very pleased to welcome Brent aboard as we move to expand our government relations efforts and assist our members in navigating today’s challenging energy environment.” Golleher also served as legislative and press assistant to former U.S. Rep. Jim McCrery, R-Louisiana, for many years. He is originally from Baton Rouge and received his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University.
